PractiCount and Invoice Business 5.7

The Practiline Software-developed application PractiCount and Invoice is meant for a specific group of computer users: freelance translators, translation and localization agencies, medical transcriptionists, medical transcription agencies, legal transcriptionists and legal transcription agencies, writers, project managers and other pros from the language processing industry.

The functionality this application provides will come in very handy for all the users I mentioned above. What can PractiCount and Invoice do? Here’s the lowdown: it will look at multiple documents (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PDF, HTML and so on) and will do a batch text count.

It can count how many words there are in those documents, it can count how many characters there are (with and without spaces), it can count how many lines there are, it can count how many pages all those documents have (1 page = a set number of characters with or without spaces, a set number of words, or a set number of lines).

PractiCount and Invoice provides support for doc, docx, rtf, xls, xls, xlsx, csv, ppt, pptx, pps, wpd, pdf, mif, htm, html, shtml, XML, SGML, ASP, PHP, cnt, hhc, hpj, hhk, hhp.

After it does all the counting, PractiCount and Invoice does one more thing: it can come up with a customer-ready invoice. You can of course further customize the invoice if you want to.

There are 3 different versions of PractiCount and Invoice out there: Standard, Business and Enterprise Edition. To my mind the Business Edition is the one to choose. It doesn’t cost as much as the Enterprise Edition, but comes with all the bells and whistles that make PractiCount and Invoice an attractive application.
